Controlling Pests (Pf)
Observed rat droppings underneath the chip shelving. Recommended removing the bottom shelf pulling the shelving out and sweep clean and sanitize the floors to remove new and old dropping and any other debris. PIC was able to provide Sept 16th pest report that states rat activity. The exterminator is due to come back out tomorrow per the report. Contact the licensed company and provide a detailed IPM report. Ensure that the exterminator inspects drop ceilings interior and exterior. Recommend more frequent visits until a clean report is provided. Ensure exterior door is repaired all holes leading to outside are filled and doors are kept shut when not in use.

SEVERE CONTAMINATION: Rodent droppings carry 35+ diseases including Hantavirus (36% mortality rate), Salmonella (20% of cases from rodents), Leptospirosis (kidney/liver failure). Mice contaminate 10 times more food than they eat through urine and droppings.

IMMEDIATE ACTION: Clean/sanitize all affected areas with 10% bleach solution. Discard ALL exposed food. Seal holes over 1/4 inch (mice) or 1/2 inch (rats). Remove food sources. Install bait stations. Professional extermination within 24 hours.

Observed food and debris on the floor in the breakroom under the shelving in the rice area in and around the register area. Sweep clean and sanitize floors to remove food debris and heavy soil build up. Observed milk on the floor located in the expired food good area. Clean and sanitize to remove milk. Observed dust build up on the air filters where the eggs are located. Clean to remove dust. Observed broken tiles in the frozen good aisle. Repair Recommended removing shelving and end caps to clean floor.
