Consumer Advisories

Although consumer advisories are posted at the cash register and on the menu the advisory is not clearly linked to the food items that may be cooked to order (eggs burgers etc.). When the menus are reprinted any item that may be ordered raw or undercooked should be identified/highlighted with a symbol that ties the item to the disclosure. For example: Eggs any style * * Consuming raw or undercooked meats poultry seafood shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
