Food Protection

The rolls bread sticks and cookies are displayed on white platters covered with a clear plastic film. Boxes of deli paper are placed beside each display and utilized to prevent bare hand contact with the food products. If the plastic film used to protect the bakery items is not flipped away and off of the bakery items the film will rub / contact the back side of the patron's hand as the patron grasps the bakery item(s). If the film has brushed the back side of a patron's hand it will then come to rest on the bakery items once it is replaced. The health Division recommends the use of an alternative sneeze protection / protective display. A plastic lid with a handle would suffice as would the sneeze protection above the foods set on the counter between the soups and the beverage cooler.
