Controlling Pests (Pf)
At this time found droppings in mop closet stairs out to the dumpster arounf water heater and under office desk and safe. PIC has a report from in Dec 14th. PIC will need to do a deep cleaning and have pest control come back out a few times a week until problem is taken care off. In the mop closet you will see the ceiling falling apart and also in the hallway by the stairs out to the trash. PIC will need to have that fixed and the ceiling inspected by pest control.
Why This Matters
SEVERE CONTAMINATION: Rodent droppings carry 35+ diseases including Hantavirus (36% mortality rate), Salmonella (20% of cases from rodents), Leptospirosis (kidney/liver failure). Mice contaminate 10 times more food than they eat through urine and droppings.
Code Requirements
IMMEDIATE ACTION: Clean/sanitize all affected areas with 10% bleach solution. Discard ALL exposed food. Seal holes over 1/4 inch (mice) or 1/2 inch (rats). Remove food sources. Install bait stations. Professional extermination within 24 hours.

As discussed PIC will need to provide trash barrels with covers to hold trash before it goes out to the dumpster. The trash was on the ground in the hallway and a bag of old bagel and boxes in the stairway. PLease provide enough to hold all the trash.
